Judging Criteria
CORE Innovation’s Hot 30 is a curated list of technologists and entrepreneurs driving innovation in some of Australia’s most important industries. The Hot 30 companies are judged using the following criteria:
Problem the innovation is solving
Does the innovation real-world impact?
Does the technology have real-world application?
Growth and growth potential
How quickly has the company been able to grow?
What is the potential for growth and scalability?
Proof of concept
Does the innovation have demonstrable application?
Is the company able to draw on data to show real-world outcomes?
Ability to attract investment
Has the company been successful in attracting seed funding?
Has the company been awarded any other investment or grants?
Team and combined experience
Are the team experts in their respective fields?
Is the combined or cross-functional experience of team leveraged?
