HOT 30 Awards welcomes back Kylah Morrison from METS Ignited as Judge

CORE Innovation Hub is so pleased to announce METS Ignited’s General Manager of WA & SA, Kylah Morrison will once again join the Hot 30 Awards as a judge in 2023. Kylah will be judging the Emerging Industry Award, looking for companies who can demonstrate cutting edge technology being used in new and novel ways to solve some of the critical sector challenges.

Kylah is a highly experienced mining executive, and beyond her role with METS Ignited is a Non-Executive Director for Province Resources (ASX:PRL) and is the current WA Representative for Women on Boards.

Kylah has over 14 years’ experience working in private companies in the oil & gas industry, indigenous organisations, not-for-profits, and start-ups. From 2016 to 2019 Kylah championed regional economic development as the President, then CEO of the local Chamber of Commerce, and Founding Chairperson of the Pilbara Universities Centre.

Living and working for nine years in Karratha, Kylah has a deep understanding of risks and challenges experienced by corporates, government, local businesses and indigenous organisations operating in remote and regional Australia, particularly in North Western Australia.

Kylah holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and Master of Engineering Management from Canterbury University. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion, indigenous affairs, corporate governance and sustainability.
